IEEJ WEST 30-machine System Models (60Hz)

As large-scale system models, these models reflect the characteristics of the real systems more closely than the 10-machine system models; they have been developed based on the reduction of the real systems. However, as mentioned above, since the power flow conditions are modified, the stability conditions of the systems are more severe than those of the real systems.

Features

(1) This model has large scale longitudinal structure
(The long trunk line is over 1,000 km.)
(30 machines, 115 nodes, 129 branch)

(2) The frequency of the dominant power oscillations is almost similar to that of the real system.

(3) Daytime : 128,840 MVA (100,460 MW), Load = 100,200 MW)
Nighttime : 66,720 MVA (46,550 MW, -2,620 MW (pumped)), Load = 43,730 MW

(4) Frequency : 60 Hz
